Countersunk Head Knurled Additional Resources

Installation Guide

  1. Drill a countersunk hole in the material matching the specified Hole Size (H) and countersink angle in the Size Chart.
  2. Insert the Countersunk Head Knurled Rivet Nut into the hole, ensuring the head sits flush with the material surface.
  3. Use a compatible rivet nut tool to compress and secure the rivet nut, allowing the knurled body to grip the material.
  4. Thread a matching bolt or screw into the rivet nut to complete the assembly.
Note: Ensure the material thickness falls within the specified Grip Range (e) and is at least 1.5mm for a secure fit.

Technical Notes

  • Ensure the material thickness is within the Grip Range to avoid installation failure.
  • A properly prepared countersunk hole is essential for a flush finish; use a countersink bit matching the head angle.
  • The knurled body provides anti-rotation in softer materials; for harder materials, ensure proper hole preparation.
  • Open End design allows flexibility for bolts of varying lengths but is not suitable for waterproof applications.
  • Recommended for use with stainless steel bolts to prevent galvanic corrosion.
